ღ°º¤ §ü€'s §pØt ¤º°ღ~*The horns just keep the halo up!*~ UpdateOk.... so here we are again... I finally got moved into my house... and man is it ever nice to be here. So much more space and it feels good to know it's mine! *lol* I was a while offline cuz i had probs with Aliant (go figure) trying to get my phone connected and internet and so on... but all is good now that way... good to be back up and running.
On another note.. Alex has been facing a bit of an ordeal. He developed a large lump under the right side of his jaw back in February. I've had him to doctor after doctor after doctor... all of which just kept pushing more and more antibiotics on him saying it was just an infection and should clear up soon. As time went on nothing was working....so....another trip to the doctor lead us to the specialist for Infectious Diseases. Who, along with an ENT Specialist and an ENT surgeon, concluded that Alex has whats called an "Atypical Mycobacterial Infection". This type of infection is a cousin of Turberculosis (my first reaction was "Holy crap!! TB!?!?!") but it's not viral like TB, it's bacterial, which also means it's not contagious, as well it does not affect the same areas of the body like "typical" TB. Hence the "Atypical" part... and antibiotics can't cure it...which is why none of the medications were working. The only way to treat this type of infection is to remove the afflicted area...which in Alex's case is his glands in his neck just under his jaw line. SO.... Alex is on his way to surgery within the next month. They are giving him an anti inflamatory type antibiotic right now to try and reduce the inflamation and swelling in his gland before they can operate. If not, and they operate while his jaw is inflamed like it is they could paralize the lower right part of his face due to a nerve that runs through the infected area.
If the lump continues to worsen they said they will have to operate sooner and take a chance.
So... thats it for me in a nut shell... other than that, on a lighter note...we all had a great easter and the kids got more chocolate then mom can eat *hehe*...
Update you all again later...
P.S. Check out the pics of my new house. Holy stress, a headache and a bottle of Advil!!!!Guess the title of this blog says it all... talk about a headache!!! buying a house comes with a ton of stumbles, stumps, hidden costs and obstacles... so much so that i'm now a major investor for Advil. *lol* To start... Closing day was SUPPOSED to be yesterday. *hahahahaha* what a joke.. my lawyer called the vender's lawyer and guess what??? They had NOTHING done (the vender's lawyer)... so nice!!! *sarcasm*.. They have known for weeks now what was needed and so forth but nothing had been done so now they are uber behind and have delayed my moving into the house for a few days... looks like it could be Monday or Tuesday before i get to move in... *sigh*.. meanwhile i'm over run with boxes and bags here it's just like a maze!! *lol*... I got my new fridge and stove however... thats a relief. Just waiting to move in now... it will be so nice to have the extra space. and the street is perfect (for those who don't know it's on Ireland Street in Kilbride). The school bus goes right by the door for the kids and the street is quiet!! (what a plus after living on Cornwall Avenue for 8 years and witnessing countless car accidents right from my own front step... not anymore though!!!! *WOO!*)...I also will be renovating the kitchen as soon as i move in. It's a little small and there are a few things i want to do with it to make it more attractive. (ie. ceramic tile floor, new counter top, new faucet, new semi island, new pot lights and track lighting)... should be nice. I was out to Kents looking at some stuff they had there.. i can't wait to start. This is gonna be an awesome step for me... as soon as i get in there i'll take lots of pics of my new house for people to see...so stay tuned!! *lol*
Anyway.. have a good one people!!!
adios!
Suzanne Another updateOk.. to start this blog i have a big congrats going out to my cousin Jeffrey and his girlfriend, Christine. They had a baby boy on February 28th. 9 lbs. 4 oz. They named him Jacob. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!! hehe.. i have a new baby cousin!!!
Ok.. next.... I have found a house and currently we are processing all the paperwork for the purchase!!!! YAY!!!... The closing date is set for March 22nd. so i'll be moving in between then and April 1st!!!! The house is in Kilbride (St. John's) on Ireland street. Its a fairly large house (2000 sq. ft - not bad) and has 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a rec room, and all newly renovated throughout (New windows, siding, doors, and roof, all new flooring throughout, new bathrooms, new deck, etc.).. I can't wait to move in... and the school bus for Hazelwood Elementary goes right by the front door!! AWESOME!!! My house is in complete upheaval and a total mess cuz of the packing a gutting i have started here to get ready for the move. Ugh! what a mess... but it will be worth it in the end..
Anyway.. i gotta go... Getting ready to take the kids over to my dad's for the afternoon.
Till next time!!!
Suzanne ;) Been a whileWow... let me begin by blowing the dust off this thing... It's been forever since i wrote a blog in here. Guess thats what happens when you have kids. Ok so i guess i have to update. To start...The kids are doing great and growing like weeds. Noelle had to get tubes in her ears but she's doing fine now. The twins are more than a handful. They are both walking and doing their own thing (even though Kenny prefers to crawl for some strange reason..*lol*) They have us on our toes constantly. I'm starting to think Alex should be in dance classes for toddlers because he constantly dances...and the funny part is that there doesn't even have to be any music playing...he'll still dance...*lol*...He'll dance to anything he thinks sounds like a beat....including banging pots and pans when i'm doing dishes.....it's the funniest thing i have ever seen. Noelle is doing great in Kindergarten...she loves it. Ok... what next... oh yea... I started going to a gym.... and i'm now hooked. I love it and it's one hell of a stress reliever.
And on to the biggest news of all.... i'm about to buy a house... I'm still looking right now (and i may have found one). So I'll be in my own house very soon!!!! YAY! I had to get my own house... it was really time for a move...with three small kids the need for more space was really evident....It's way too crammy here and the kids have no real place to play... in our own house they'll have a rec room they can claim as thier own for a play area....
Anywho... thats about all for now... I guess i'll update again in time... just not sure when... *lol*...
~Till next time!~
AhahahahahaWHY PARENTS DRINK!! A boss wondered why one of his most valued employees had not bothered to phone in sick one day. Having an urgent problem with one of the main computers, he dialed the employee's home phone number and was greeted with a child's whisper. "Hello." Is your daddy home?" he asked. Yes,"whispered the small voice. "May I talk with him?" The child whispered, "No." Surprised and wanting to talk with an adult, the boss asked, "Is your Mommy there?" "Yes" "May I talk with her?" Again the small voice whispered, "No." Hoping there was somebody with whom he could leave a message, the boss asked "Is anybody else there?" "Yes,"whispered the child, "a policeman". Wondering what a cop would be doing at his employee's home, the boss asked, "May I speak with the policeman?" "No, he's busy,"whispered the child. "Busy doing what?" "Talking to Daddy and Mommy and the Fireman,"came the whispered answer. Growing more worried as he heard what sounded like a helicopter through the earpiece on the phone, the boss asked, "What is that noise?" "A helicopter,"answered the whispering voice. "What is going on there?" demanded the boss, now truly apprehensive. Again, whispering, the child answered, "The search team just landed the helicopter." Alarmed, concerned and a little frustrated the boss asked, "What are they searching for?" Still whispering, the young voice replied with a muffled giggle......."ME." Mardi Gras was a blast!Hello people!!! Just a brief update to let you all know that Mardi Gras was GREAT!... I was drunk.. and danced my ass off!!!! The costumes we saw were awesome.. and the fun we had was even better!!! Check out the photos!!!! Mardi Gras 2006!!!!!!!
Hope you all had a fantastic Halloween weekend!!!!
~*Suzanne*~
p.s. = "Rock this Party".... Remember dancing to this one Sheila??? *lmao* Fun times!
Halloween is almost here!!!My kids are going out trick or treating on Halloween night as well... Noelle is dressing up as a lady bug, Alex as a dinosaur, and Kenny as a devil (like his mom *hehe*)....it's so cute cuz Alex recently took a keen liking to his dinosaur costume and goes around the house "roaring" like a dinosaur.... *lol*.. sooooo cute.... I'll have lots of pics to post this coming week from the weekend and Halloween night.. so check back...
Anywho.. hope all you Gouls and Goulettes have an awesome Halloween !!!! ... and don't do anything I wouldn't do !!! *hehe*
p.s. = The song on my space is in honor of Mardi Gras and Halloween...
I'm so slackOk... I know I know... slack ain't the word for me these days... i haven't wrote a blog in ages... to be honest... I haven't really had a lot of time.. between the kids and going out with Sheila... not alot of time left for much of anything else... and if there is time.. i'm usually too lazy to write a blog.. *lol*
Not much on the go with me.. other than being out quite a bit these days.. me and Sheila have developed a new addiction to each other i think... *lol*... that and Tim Horton's...(gotta love Timmies)... I'm liking it tho... for a while there i was feeling very confined.... hardly getting time away from the kids to even run to the corner store... but ever since this past summer i've been regaining my independance and getting out again... it's wicked... aside from my lack of pool skills... *lol*...
We're now thinking on trying to master bowling/glow bowling or even glow golf ...*lol*... dunno why... just for shits and giggles i guess...fun times....
Me and She and a few friends are planning on hitting George Street this Halloween for Mardi Gras... not sure what i'm gonna go as yet... remains to be seen... we shall see... but i will take lots of pics for everyone to make fun of.. *lol*Anywho... i gotta go again... soon coffee time with Sheila again... YAY! and who knows what else....
TTYL!

Time for an update...Ok.... man I keep getting more and more slack with these blogs... *lol*.. time for me to shape up...
Anywho.. had a pretty calm and cool weekend... went out to my mom's for the weekend... It was nice to get out there again.. but not nearly a long enough stay... (I love it out to my mom's).
I got back in town around 6 pm last night... once i got the kids in bed for the night me and Sheila went out for coffee... and what an interesting night we had (right She? *hehe*) We went to Timmies (Tim Horton's) of course... went in and got a tea for Sheila and French Vanilla Cappucino pour moi... then we opted to sit in her car and drink it rather than sit inside Timmies... Timmies was way to freakin cold... they must have had the air condition on crank and a half! *BURRR*.... So the car was much warmer.. *hehe*... so we sat in her car in the crowded parking lot drinking our stuff... and man that place is one effin busy spot!!!! People were actually having a hard time finding a parking spot at times... *lol*.... and you would think at the traffic that was the only Timmies in town.. but there is one ever few blocks... *lmao*
After sitting drinking and talking for way too long we then headed to Dooley's to play some pool... (not my idea.. but what the hell).... and boy... when i said i sucked at pool... that was one HUGE understatement.... I really really really suck at pool... *lol*.... but it was fun all the same.... we never played real pool anyway.. we played our own little game of "pool" with our own set of rules... *lol*.... complete with Sheila shots and do-overs... *lmao*.... so fun.... makes for a great laugh... and what an interesting night we had... anywho.. we have decided to attempt our lame pool games more frequently... so we'll see how that goes.. *lol* and $10 for a table (all you can play) ain't bad at all!
Anywho...
time to go again.. i shall update again sometime soon...
Have a large day people!!!
Lots of luv!!!!
~*Suzanne*~
Finally updating my blog!Hey people... had a pretty crazy past couple weeks... between having minor day surgery (myself)... to my mom being in hospital getting a total hip replacement and then the kids thrown on top of it.. not alot of time for anything... I did manage to get one night downtown a couple weekends ago.. me and Sheila hit George Street and had a f***ing AWESOME time.. we danced our arses off the whole night and i managed to get myself a wee bit tipsy
Anyways.. my mom was released from the hospital today.. (YAY!).. though i thought it was a bit premature seen as she only got out of bed for the first time yesterday and her operation was 5 days ago... took that long for her just to regain normal strength to merely hold herself up.... however she is very happy to be home... thats the main thing i guess... if she's happy she'll heal faster...
On another note... what do y'all think of that new Nissan commercial??? The Bonavista.... *lol*... I think it's GREAT! laughed my ass off the first time I watched it.. it depicts the Newfie accent very well!!!! (though it's a little bit stronger in the commercial then most real Newfie's... but very accurate all the same).. I love it... *lol*.. grand ol' laugh! *haha*
For anyone who hasn't seen it.... here it is...
click the link to view the new Nissan Bonavista commercial
Anywho... off to get back to my relaxation!!!*hehe*
TOODLES!!!
